I like to start things off with eraclea's Daily Bamboo Exfoliant ($40/4 oz). I take a pea sized amount of this exfoliator, and massage the product over my wet face. After about 30 seconds, I'll rinse my face well, ensuring all of the scrub is rinsed away. This exfoliator is gentle yet effective. This product doesn't have much of a scent to it, and I think that it would be appropriate for those with sensitive skin. I've been using the Daily Bamboo Exfoliant twice a week after cleansing.
Next, I reach for eraclea's Intensive Repair and Protect Serum/Vitamin C ($75/1 oz), which has a fairly thin consistency. Vitamin C and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate work to protect against cell damage, accelerate cell renewal, improve tone, texture, firmness and brightness, and guard against wrinkles. This formula absorbs into my skin quickly, and it definitely brings a nice natural glow to my skin.
Finally, I apply eraclea's Pure Hydration Serum/Zinc ($80/1 oz), which has a thicker gel consistency. This product is meant for stressed, irritated skin, and it actually draws on the anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of zinc to promote healing while reducing redness. Science! I find that this gel takes a few minutes to fully absorb into my skin.
After using this system for a month, I find that my skin's texture is smoother, and my skin looks more radiant. These products are quite pricey, but I do think that skincare is worth investing in. Now if only I could convince Dylan to stick to a skincare routine...
